Agreement to Terms and Conditions
By placing a deposit or making full payment for any order or online purchase, you areacknowledging that you have read, understood, and agreed to all Blush Artisan Cakes (BAC)terms and conditions.
Please note that these terms and conditions may be updated or amended at any time withoutprior notice. Clients are encouraged to review them periodically to stay informed of any changes.
Cake Order Confirmation & Payment
Online Orders:
Full payment is required for all online orders.
We also support payment options like Atome and other credit.
Order Processing:
Orders will only be processed once payment has been confirmed.
We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring timely payments, allowing us to provide the best service for your special occasion.
Changes Made After Being Invoiced
Order Change Policy
At Blush Artisan Cakes (BAC), we kindly request that clients finalise all order details before confirming. Any changes made after confirmation may be subject to the following conditions:
Admin Fee for Changes
A minimum $15 administrative fee applies for any minor changes made more than 24 hours after placing an order. This covers the time required to update invoices, booking details, and communication records.
For major adjustments such as changes to cake size, design, or flavour, an admin fee between $25 and $50 may apply depending on the scope of the change. This ensures fair compensation for the additional time, coordination, and materials involved.
Order Confirmation
Once you receive your receipt, it is understood that you are satisfied with all prices and items ordered. Please double-check the number of serving, design details, and event date before confirming your order.
Adding to Your Order
If you wish to include additional items after confirmation, this will depend on availability and sufficient notice. We will always do our best to accommodate your requests.
Design Adjustments After Production
If any design element (such as a making of colored edibles, topper, fondant decoration, or icing detail) has already been completed before a change request is made, an additional material and labour fee will apply. Every cake is handmade with care, and this policy ensures our team is fairly compensated for their time and craftsmanship.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to create a seamless experience for you.
Design and Creative Process
At Blush Artisan Cakes (BAC), we take pride in originality and craftsmanship. While we welcome your inspiration images as a guide, we do not copy or reproduce another artist’s design exactly.
Each cake we create is thoughtfully crafted to reflect our signature style and your personal vision, ensuring that no two cakes are ever identical, even when inspired by our past work.
Decorative Elements
Please note that certain decorative items may contain wires, toothpicks, plastic straws or other structural supports to ensure stability. These components should be carefully removed before cutting and serving the cake for safety reasons.
Cake Flower Policy
At Blush Artisan Cakes (BAC), fresh and preserved flowers may be used for decorative purposes upon client request or as part of the design. Please note that all flowers used are non-edible and not meant for consumption.
We take careful steps to ensure food safety during preparation. Stems are never inserted directly into the cake, and a small dollop of buttercream is used between the cake and each flower as a protective barrier. Before serving, please remove any buttercream that has been in contact with the flowers.
As flowers are seasonal and highly dependent on supplier availability, we may not always be able to source the exact same type of flowers shown in reference images. We will use similar shades and varieties to maintain the intended look.
Due to the time-sensitive nature of floral supply, we may not be able to contact you for approval if last-minute substitutions are required.
Please also note that BAC will not be held responsible for any allergic reactions that may arise from contact with or proximity to fresh or preserved flowers.
This policy ensures that every cake remains safe, elegant, and well-presented while allowing flexibility in floral arrangements.
Allergies
At Blush Artisan Cakes (BAC), we regret to inform that we do not cater to gluten free, nut free, dairy free, or egg free orders. Our cakes and pastries are made in a kitchen that handles a wide range of ingredients, including nuts, gluten, eggs, and dairy products.
We also do not cater for orders that are both vegan and gluten free combined. Important Information
While our team takes great care in handling all ingredients, please note that cross- contamination may occur, and we cannot guarantee the absence of any allergens in our products. Kindly take this into consideration before ordering or serving our cakes and desserts to guests with allergies.
Allergy Responsibility
BAC does not accept responsibility for any allergy-related reactions or outcomes, as our kitchen is not an allergen-free environment.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we continue to prioritise quality, transparency, and food safety in all that we do.
Order Cancellations and Rescheduling Policy
At Blush Artisan Cakes (BAC), we understand that plans can change. However, the following conditions apply to all cancellations, rescheduling requests, and missed collections unless extenuating circumstances occur and valid proof can be provided.
Online Shop Orders
For cancellations of online shop purchases, a refund will be issued minus 25% of the product price, provided that:
- At least 7 days’ notice is given, and
- The product has not yet been made or prepared.
- Alternatively, a store credit can be issued for future use. Please note that a $25 administrative fee will still apply.
Late Cancellations
Cancellations made within 3 days of the scheduled collection or delivery date will result in forfeiture of the full payment amount, as ingredients, labour, and preparation would already have been allocated.
Missed Collections
If an order is not collected at the scheduled time, our team may not be available for recollection until the next business day. Refunds cannot be provided for cakes or desserts not collected during business hours.
Rescheduling Orders
To reschedule your order, please notify BAC in writing during business hours and provide sufficient notice. The new date will be subject to availability, and the deposit may not be transferable.
Examples of Extenuating Circumstances
Extenuating circumstances refer to serious and unavoidable events that are beyond the client’s control. These may include, but are not limited to: Medical emergencies involving the client or an immediate family member (with supporting proof)
Death in the family
Natural disasters or severe weather conditions preventing the event from proceeding Government restrictions or sudden venue closures
Serious accidents or incidents that make it impossible to continue with the event
Please note that personal changes such as relationship breakdowns, change of plans, or personal decisions to cancel do not fall under extenuating circumstances.
Order Refunds and Satisfaction Policy
At Blush Artisan Cakes (BAC), we want every client to be completely satisfied with their order. Each cake is handcrafted with care and attention to detail. However, the following conditions apply to refunds and satisfaction claims.
Design, Colour, and Decoration
Refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction relating to design, colour shade, or decorative style. It is the client’s responsibility to communicate design preferences clearly, provide sufficient details, and allow BAC to guide the creative process.
By choosing BAC, you are placing trust in our style, craftsmanship, and professional experience. If we believe a requested design may not meet our quality or structural standards, we will contact you during the design process to recommend suitable adjustments that ensure the best possible result. Once the cake has been completed and collected, no further design changes or refunds can be made.
Flavour and Quality Concerns
At BAC, we take great pride in the quality and taste of our cakes. As taste is subjective, personal flavour preference does not constitute grounds for a refund or replacement.
If you believe your order does not meet our usual quality standards (for example, incorrect flavour, missing filling, or spoilage), please contact us within 24 hours of collection so we can review your concern.
Any claim regarding flavour or quality must be supported by returning the remaining portion of the cake to our premises within 24 hours for evaluation. This allows us to assess the issue accurately while the product is still in its original condition.
Refunds cannot be issued for products that have been more than 25 percent consumed.
Approved refunds or compensations, if any, will be issued as store credit only. To ensure that flavours match your preferences, we recommend ordering a
tasting box before confirming large or custom cake orders.
At Collection
If you are unhappy with your cake at the point of collection, please raise it with us immediately. We will do our best to make adjustments if it is reasonably possible to do so on the spot. Please note that if you send someone else to collect your order, this opportunity may not be available.
Please note that self-collection is only available for single-tier cakes. For two-tier cakes and above, delivery through BAC’s delivery service is
compulsory to ensure safe transport and proper handling.
Post-Collection Damage
BAC is not responsible for any damage that occurs once the cake has left our premises. If damage occurs during your own transport or handling, we may assist with repairs subject to our availability.
Delivery, Collection and Setup Policy
At Blush Artisan Cakes (BAC), we take great care to ensure your cake is delivered and presented safely, beautifully, and on time. Our delivery and setup services are designed to maintain the quality, stability, and presentation of your order.
Delivery Coverage and Timing
Deliveries are available islandwide in Singapore. All delivery timings are scheduled within a one-hour window, and exact arrival times may vary slightly depending on traffic or weather conditions. Our team will always do their best to arrive within the agreed timeframe.
Pickup and Delivery Eligibility
Self-collection is only available for single-tier cakes. For two-tier cakes and above, delivery through BAC’s delivery service is compulsory to ensure safe handling and temperature control.
Orders for pickup must be collected at the agreed time. Our schedule is carefully managed to accommodate multiple deliveries and collections.
If you arrive late, you may need to return later for collection or arrange delivery through a courier service (such as Lalamove or GrabExpress) at your own cost.
We will send reminders before your pickup date to ensure you are aware of your collection time.
Delivery and Setup at Venues
For wedding cakes and event setups, please ensure the venue is ready and accessible at the scheduled time. Our team will handle the setup carefully and photograph the completed display for our records before leaving. Once setup is completed and acknowledged by the client, venue staff, or event coordinator, BAC will not be responsible for any damage, interference, or adjustments made after our departure.
Recipient Absence
Please ensure someone is available to receive the order during the scheduled delivery window. If no one is available, our driver may return later subject to
availability and additional redelivery fees. Refunds cannot be issued for missed deliveries.
Delivery Conditions
All cakes are transported in an air-conditioned vehicle to preserve freshness and structural integrity. Once the cake has been handed over to the client, venue staff, or event coordinator, BAC is not responsible for any damage that occurs due to heat exposure, improper storage, or mishandling after delivery.
Post-Event Collection
If BAC is scheduled to collect cake stands, display props, or other decorative items after the event, please ensure our items remain on the display table, properly cleaned, and ready for pickup at the agreed time. Any delay, damage, or rescheduling of collection may incur additional fees.
Client and Venue Responsibility
Once the setup is completed and photographed, responsibility for the display transfers to the client, event coordinator, or venue staff. BAC will not be
Cake Care and Serving Guidelines
Storage and Freezing Advice
Leftover cake can be frozen for up to 30 days if stored in an airtight container.
Some bridal customers have successfully frozen their cake for up to one year for anniversary celebrations.
Refrigeration
Your cake will stay fresh in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days, depending on its decorations and flavours.
If you are not consuming the cake on the day of collection, refrigerate it until the day of your event for certain cake designs. Cover sliced cakes in an airtight container, so that it doesn’t dries up in the fridge.
Cakes with flowers or fondant decorations should be collected and consumed on the day of the event, as these toppers may not hold up well in refrigeration overnight.
Cakes are best collected and consumed on the same day for maximum freshness.
Serving Guidelines
Remove the cake from the refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature before serving:
Over 30°C: Leave out for 1–2 hours before cutting. Between 25–30°C: Leave out for 3–4 hours before cutting. Below 25°C: Leave out for 6–8 hours before cutting.
Butter-based cakes and buttercream taste best at room temperature, achieving a texture similar to softened ice cream.
Large Cakes (Multi-Tier)
Multi-tier cakes are constructed to remain standing for 6-8 hours at room temperature Below 25°C under normal indoor conditions.
Microwave Tip (If Needed)
If the cake has been chilled and you need to serve it sooner:
- Slice the cake and microwave each portion for 5 short bursts seconds and checking the softness each time at mid power or Let the slices sit at room temperature until softened naturally.
- This helps bring the buttercream to the perfect texture for serving.
Important Considerations
Once the cake leaves our kitchen, storage and display conditions may vary significantly. Our cakes are buttercream-based, which means they will be firm like a block of butter when cold but will soften beautifully if left out for the right amount of time.

Cake Stand Hire Policy
At Blush Artisan Cakes (BAC), we offer a range of elegant cake stands for hire to complement your cake setup. These are available exclusively for BAC cake customers to ensure a cohesive and professional presentation.
Stand Selection
Due to the fast-paced nature of event scheduling and overlapping cake orders, specific stands cannot be pre-selected. Our team will thoughtfully choose a stand that best complements your cake design and theme ensuring a beautiful and harmonious presentation and that is available during your date of event.
Collection and Return
All hired stands and display items will be delivered and set up together with your cake order and collected by BAC after the event at the agreed date and time. Please ensure that the stands remain on the display table and are kept in good condition until our team arrives for collection.
Damage or Loss
If any hired stand or display item is damaged, broken, or missing at the time of collection, the client will be liable for the full replacement cost of the item. Replacement costs will be invoiced according to the value of the stand or prop.
Late Collection or Delays
If the venue or client requests a later collection beyond the scheduled date, this may affect our inventory availability for upcoming events. A second hire fee may be invoiced if the stand cannot be retrieved on time. Additional collection fees may apply if the pickup must be rescheduled outside of normal operating hours.
Client Cooperation
To ensure a smooth process, please inform venue staff or coordinators that BAC will be returning for collection. Timely access and proper care of the items help us maintain service quality for all clients.
